Frequently asked questions

LeaseGrid, in plain language.

What is LeaseGrid?

LeaseGrid helps property owners and authorized teams organize properties, units, tenancy, rent records, maintenance, documents and reporting. Public visitors can browse vacant spaces that an owner has approved for publication.

Who is LeaseGrid for?

LeaseGrid currently supports property owners, property managers, accountants or finance users, solicitors or legal users and future delegated roles. Each team member uses an individual account with organization, role and property scope. Tenant access is being introduced separately. A solicitor is a distinct legal role, not a property manager.

How does a property owner start?

Submit a registration request. Support confirms authority, portfolio scope and package, prepares approved account access, agrees a secure information-sharing method and helps configure the workspace.

How do public vacant spaces work?

Anyone can browse published vacant spaces without an account. A listing inquiry is reviewed manually and does not create a tenancy, reservation or payment obligation. Availability is confirmed by the property owner or authorized team.

How do tenants interact with LeaseGrid?

Tenant access is not currently available and is being introduced separately. When enabled for an approved tenancy, each tenant workspace will remain limited to authorized records.

How do managers, accountants and solicitors fit in?

Owners invite team members and assign permissions. Managers focus on assigned property operations, accountants on authorized finance records, and solicitors on approved legal documents and lease workflows. Team-management and sensitive approvals remain with the owner unless explicitly delegated.

Can existing records be imported?

Existing records are imported only through a reviewed migration process. LeaseGrid never invents a missing tenant, lease, rent or property value.

What information should an owner prepare?

Prepare an organization and owner profile, property and unit lists, current occupancy status, authorized team roles, public-listing choices and any relevant tenant, lease, opening-balance, maintenance and document-metadata records. Support confirms what is needed before secure setup begins.

What should I never send through a public form?

Do not send passwords, verification codes, identity documents, tenant lists, tenancy agreements, bank or card details, payment evidence, rent schedules, private contacts or confidential property documents. Ask support to confirm a secure channel first.

Which features are available now?

Public vacant-space browsing, public listing inquiries, package information, help content and onboarding registration are available. Approved owner and reviewed team workspaces are activated manually. Tenant access is being introduced separately.

How are payments and messages handled?

Manual billing and bank-transfer renewal are available through the reviewed support process. Transactional operational email is available for approved account and payment-status events. Online card payment, general push notifications, SMS and WhatsApp are not currently available.

Can I use LeaseGrid on my phone?

Yes. LeaseGrid works in mobile browsers and is available for Android on Google Play in Nigeria. An iOS app is not currently available.

Need a human answer?

Ask LeaseGrid support before sending private records.

Send a safe summary of your question. Support will confirm the correct onboarding or issue-handling channel.
